Our Ethics
At the heart of Basic American Foods are the principles of integrity, honesty, and respect for all people. We are committed to maintaining these principles. This statement includes summary language drawn from our detailed policies.
Every employee is expected to read and understand the company’s statement and the policies from which it is drawn. Officers, directors, and other supervisors are expected to foster in employees a sense of commitment to the BAF spirit, as well as the letter of these policies.
The reputation of Basic American Foods depends on the honesty, fairness, and integrity brought to the job by each person associated with us. If you suspect or have knowledge of a violation of our business conduct standards or ethics, you have a responsibility to report it. If you have questions or need to report a violation, your immediate resource is your supervisor. If you prefer to go to someone else with an issue, you may contact any member of the Business Conduct Committee (listed in the Business Conduct Policy in the Employee Handbook). You may also report a violation, a suspected violation, or ask an anonymous question via the Business Conduct Call-in Line at 925-472-4334, or submit an anonymous concern using the online form.
