Mashed potatoes mixed with white miso and shredded parmesan cheese.

Miso Parmesan Mashed Potatoes


1  pouch Potato Pearls® EXCEL® Original Butter Mashed Potatoes, prepared
3 1/2  qt Hot water (170°-190°F)
2  cups Heavy cream
1/2  cup White miso paste
1/2  lb Parmesan cheese, shredded


  1. Prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions using 3½ quarts of water instead of 4. Hold hot.
  2. Heat cream and miso in small sauce pan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is hot and miso has dissolved. Do not boil. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir cream mixture and shredded cheese into potatoes with a whisk or a heavy spoon until well incorporated.
