Golden Curried Mashed Potatoes Follow instructions for Golden Curried Mashed Potatoes.
Sirloin steaks, 1" thick, trimmed 6 lb. Place steaks in full-size steamtable pan. Cover with marinade; refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. Drain; discard marinade.
Ginger-soy marinade, commercially prepared 3 cup
Grill steaks over high heat to sear both sides. Finish in preheated 350°F conventional oven. Remove from oven and let rest. Diagonally slice each steak to desired thickness; hold warm.
Thai peanut sauce, commercially prepared 4 1/2 cup For each serving: Portion 1-1/2 cups curried potatoes on center of plate. Fan 4 ounces sliced sirloin on one side of potatoes. Drizzle 3 tablespoons peanut sauce around potatoes and steak. Garnish plate with 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro and 3 cilantro sprigs.
