Marketing Manager, National Accounts
Summary To achieve the volume, profit and annual strategic objectives of products sold through National Accounts and Strategic Accounts (YUM! Brands and Dry products in Club Stores) in the Food Service Market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Facilitate and guide the signature product development process with Sales Managers and Technology. Assess opportunities for strategic fit, volume and profit potential prior to project initiation. Manage and track the product development process from initiation to commercialization. Track development projects using weekly updates of the project status report. Works closely with R & D, QR& O, Sales Management and outside suppliers.
2. Participate in annual budget and estimate processes. Assist in the development of annual pricing strategies by account based upon changes in COGs, and profit objectives. Recommend LAR and MAR price points to Senior Marketing Manager and Director, National Account sales with supporting implementation plans. Works closely with FPA, Procurement and Marketing Senior Management. Implement approved prices for price list generation.
3. Manage packaging development in support of Signature products, customer requested label changes and internal initiated packaging changes. Activities include initiating new/obsolete SKU form, coordinating graphic development with customers, Packaging Coordinator, Sales Managers. Coordinate packaging material inventory in support of new packages to meet launch dates and minimize write-offs during product transition or phase out. Works closely with Packaging Coordinator, Packaging Engineering, Operations and Demand Planning.
4. Develop Marketing plan consistent with the company’s annual Operating Plan and three year Strategic Plan. Review daily customer sales activity and provide trend or promotion input by customer in the monthly forecast update meeting with Forecast Analyst and Demand Planning.
5. Work with Sales Managers in support of Strategic Account development sales calls. Collaborate with team to define goals, identify supporting materials required, timelines and accountabilities. Develop materials and presentations are required.

Education and/or Experience
M.B.A. or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software and Inventory software; Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Travel 25% of the time.
