Job Title: Senior Talent Development Manager

Summary
The incumbent will assess and determine organizational development and training needs. Develop plans and processes to create and implement solutions to address training and development requirements. Additionally, will deliver training and manage training and development activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Identifies leadership development needs and implements appropriate training and development programs; establishes a company-wide mentoring and coaching program to ensure the development of future leadership. Provides internal consulting to individuals and departments on training and development opportunities that will enhance their performance.
2. Develops and implements programs, processes, and strategies that enable managers to plan, evaluate, develop, and improve their human and organization resources to optimize their contribution to the company.
3. Develops and executes innovative strategies and processes to ensure the organization has the necessary skills and competencies to meet company business plans. Designs, identifies, delivers, coordinates, and evaluates seminars, workshops, courses, and training curricula based on the needs of the organization.
4. Oversee the recruitment process from requisition to onboarding of new hires. Ensures the organization is utilizing best practice recruitment processes and programs to fill job openings. Ensures a network of contacts is maintained to help identify and source qualified candidates.
5. Manage the succession planning process to ensure leaders are developed for future opportunities. Develop needs analysis to identify skills/competency gaps and establishes measures to track progress.
6. Establishes and coordinates an organization-wide approach to training and development.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will not have direct supervisory responsibilities but will provide direction relevant to Talent Development to employees in the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities may be expanded to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and eight – ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Human Resource systems; Learning Management Systems; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Other Skills and Abilities
Master's Degree in Organizational Development or other related field preferred.
Other Qualifications
Travel 10-15% of the time.
