Basic American Foods has been a leading supplier of potato and bean based ingredients to customers for over 80 years.  With over 40 patents under its name, BAF has a long history of product innovation to support its customers.  Today, an experienced and highly trained R&D team is able to support a wide range of product development and reformulation needs.

BAF operates five manufacturing facilities in Southeast Idaho and the Columbia Basin, where the majority of the U.S. potato and bean crops are grown.  Our potatoes and beans are sourced 100% from within the United States.
